"Dear Marco, We just wanted to say thank you so much for making the day more perfect than we thought it could be. The prospect of having someone you've never met arranging the most important day of your life is a very nerve wracking one. However from the the moment Marco began e-mailing us to discuss all the possible ideas for our wedding we knew we would be in safe hands. While we had initial ideas of how we wanted the day Marco shaped these thoughts into something beyond what we expected. His experience of helping others to plan weddings meant he could suggest things that we might not have originally thought of, or knew were possible. We always knew we wanted a vintage car for our wedding day and the classic Fiat 500 that we chose from the variety of options we were sent was perfect. The car had been decorated beautifully and April loved being picked up from outside the hotel and driven around the streets of Florence to the Palazzo Vecchio as the driver tooted his horn prompting people to wave as she passed! Where the wedding took place, the Sala Rossa inside of the Palazzo Vecchio, was the most amazing venue. We were stunned when we saw it in person and couldn't believe that was the place we were going to be married. Here Marco made sure that everything ran smoothly, even down to the fact that the wedding before us had overrun. He rang the driver of the Fiat and our hotel to make sure April didn't arrive too early and have to wait. Our photographer Alessandro was outstanding, we were always worried about this aspect of the day as the photos are what you keep to help you remember all the important moments. The fact that April doesn't enjoy having her picture taken was always going to be an issue. From the moment Allesandro started to take pictures however she instantly relaxed and discovered her inner diva! As we didn't want traditional photos, his reportage style suited us perfectly and he knew all the best places around the city to take us. The photos we have seen so far look incredible and we can't wait to see the rest. He has captured us at our best against the beautiful backdrop of the city of Florence. For our reception meal Marco had provided us with a number of recommendations to suit our taste and budget. Our choice was the Grand Hotel Baglioni, what swayed us was the rooftop terrace and it's views over the whole city. Traditionally the terrace opens the first week of June, unfortunately due to worse than expected weather the hotel was undecided as to whether they were going to open the terrace. Marco kept us informed of the situation, even offering to personally show us other restaurants, but luckily on the day of our wedding they decided to open it. We're grateful they did as the food, service, and location was stunning. Finally we want to say that we are glad we chose Romeo and Juliet as our wedding planners as we can't imagine how anything could have been bettered. The fact that we had one person looking after us made the whole experience feel bespoke and uniquely tailored to us. We want to say a big thank you to Marco for helping us navigate this journey, we couldn't have done it without him. April and Simon"
