An ancient monastery designed by Michelangelo and transformed into a 5 star hotel of unsurpassed beauty. It is surrounded by a large, wooded park and well-tended terrace gardens with magnificent views of Florence and the Arno valley.

Recently fully refurbished, with most of its junior suites and suites featuring either private terraces or private gardens, the hotel provides modern conveniences in a relaxed and intimate atmosphere. The historical past and the modernism of the present blend in a perfect balance. The honeymoon suite is the real jewel. It is built in the old chapel on the border of the wooded park. Its 50 square meters terrace offers a breathtaking view.

This is the only room in the hotel which features a ceiling of solid wood beams and handmade cotto tiles, which are a charming and well-balanced contrast to the vaulted ceiling of the bathroom, frescoed with sky and clouds.

Where:	nestled in the hills of Fiesole, above Florence and at a short distance from the center of Florence.
Reception:	from 2 to 60. Restaurant La loggia on the terrace where the lights glitter across the Arno Valley and the sound of a grandpiano gently fills the evening air. For intimate receptions are available the Ancient Restaurant (an elegant and historic setting) and the Cenacolo a warm room with sober colours, an open fire and the 17th century fresco of the Last Supper recently restored.

Accomodation:	45 rooms, including 24 suites and junior suites, located in the old monastery building and nestled amid the beautiful gardens, each with its own unique style and antique furnishings. Secluded honeymoon Suite in the old Chapel.
