This luxury wedding villa, located on the side of a hill surrounding Florence, was built in the XIV century and the chronicles remember it for being the heritage of the Alighieri family, as well as a holiday resort for Dante, the most legendary Italian poet and author of the Divine Comedy.

The venue has undergone numerous changes over the centuries, which have not altered its charm and elegance; the latest activities have been undertaken by the current owners who have carried out a careful restoration using the original materials and bringing the villa back to its former glory.

Currently this prestigious venue it is privately owned by a noble family and it is rent for a limited number of luxury weddings and events every year.

The villa offers plenty of indoor and outdoor spaces allowing couples the opportunity for designing a “dynamic” event enjoying the spaces best suited to their wishes.

The historical cloister with the original pavement and the adorable well able to accommodate up to 150 guests seated.

The immaculate Italian garden with a view over Florence is ideal for a standing cocktail.
The large terrace overlooking Florence which is the best option for a wedding ceremony with the wow! effect.
The veranda near the Italian garden is suitable for a mid-size banquet with up to 80 people.

Inside the villa, the rooms, furnished with taste and attention to detail, retain valuable furnishings and paintings inside. Particularly striking is the splendid tapestry that can be admired in the piano room and the large rectangular mahogany table located in the Mirror Room.

Banquets for up to around 200 people can be arranged indoor using the following halls:

Frescoed Hall - 120 people.
Tapestry Hall - 60 people.
Hall of Mirrors - 40 people.

Adjacent to the historical villa a house of the property has been completely renovated and it offers accommodation in 5 large and elegant bedrooms furnished with queen size beds, flat screens TV, and antique furniture. The house extends on 3 floors and it is surrounded by a large garden with a pool; the area is equipped with sofas, armchairs, and outdoor umbrellas to allow you to fully enjoy this green and private oasis.

Reception:	many indoor and outdoor options are available for up to 200 guests indoor and more outdoor. Only selected caterers are authorized.
Ceremonies:	Protestant or Symbolic can be celebrated in the Italian garden or the main terrace overlooking Florence or in the park. Civil and Catholic ceremonies can take place in the city centre.
Music:	music and dancing are possible until late at night indoor. Outdoor music must stop at midnight.
