The Villa, built in the Middle Ages as a fortress, became home in the 16th century to Pope Julius II and even today its origins are clearly visible in the medieval towers and embattlements of its external structure and in its Renaissance harmony of loggias arches and spacious halls. Under the current owner it has become a rather intriguing and exquisite country hotel welcoming refined guests from all over the world, a place that is really out of the ordinary with the families' antique collection arranged as a living theatre of history and culture.
