Ravello Luxury Hotel

Built in the 12th century it still preserves reminiscences of the original medieval structure while the architecture of the building is a mosaic of time and style: Moorish arches, Greek and Roman marble columns from Paestum, multicolour ceramic floors made of tiles with geometric and floral patterns from Vietri.

The romance begins when you enter the richly hued lobby with its ancient atrium of arched colonnades, green plants flowing from every nook, masses of fresh flowers, and gorgeous antiques. Each small corner is an oasis of tranquility, from the intimate bar to the cozy antique-filled tiny lounges. Refined taste is evident: each individual piece of furniture and ornament belongs to the family home and all rooms and communal areas have multicolour ceramic floorings dating back to the 17th and 18th centuries.

Rooms and suites feature a mixture of arches, corridors, corners, niches and passageways a composition of 'nests' for the imagination, which opens onto the sun of Ravello and onto the Amalfi Coast's mellow nights.

- a lovely dining room with frescoed ceiling, a large wooden arch (once the entrance to an alcove) and terracotta floors with ceramic tile inserts. It can accommodate up to 60 people;

- an impressive dining room with a vaulted ceiling and a stunning painting by Guido Reni, a massive fireplace and a finely decorated majolica floor dating back to the 18th century. Up to 60 people;

- a terrific terrace which perches like a bird's nest in the sky.

The cuisine is renowned. As well as local, regional and national cuisine, you can taste delicious and fragrant dishes. And least but not last .... wines come from the owner's vineyards!
