Christina and Tony - July 7th, 2010.Certaldo is an ideal destination for an intimate wedding in Tuscany because of the spectacular historical old town (Certaldo Alto) and the limited tourist numbers. Christina's and Tony's wedding in Certaldo was no exception and they enjoyed a wonderful and sunny day. Even the little hiccup of the funicolar that didn't work on the wedding day was overcome and all guests reached Palazzo Pretorio with a coach. ------------------------------------- Ciao Loretta I would like to thank you on behalf of myself, Christina and all 32 of our guests in proposing Certaldo and Villa Vernaccia. With no exaggeration it was truly the most amazing experience of our lives. Villa Vernaccia was so much more than we could of hoped for. On arrival in Certaldo on the road to San Gimignagno I pointed to Christina to the top of the hill on our left, " I think that's Villa Vernaccia" I said. As we drove up the hill we couldn't contain our excitement, it was absolutely breathtaking!!! The external grounds of the villa were beautiful and the rustic charm of the interior was amazing. The Wedding in Certaldo ran like clockwork, Jo was a lovely lady and extremely helpful, especially when the Funicolare broke on the day of the wedding liasing with the bus driver to get all the guests up to Palazzo Pretorio in time for the wedding ceremony. The Musicians were fantastic and really set the atmosphere of the wedding, the photographer was very thorough although I can't comment on the quality of his work till we get the photos back. You really did us proud Loretta, everything you arranged ran perfectly. The reception at Villa Vernaccia was the right choice. Francesca set the tables out on the rear terrace in the arrangement we requested, as the sun began to set and the candles burned it made a truly unforgettable experience. That was even before the food was served which was also amazing. All of our guests asked us how we were able to find such an amazing venue, all we could say was we left it to our lovely wedding planner Loretta. We went on to a 7 night cruise for our honeymoon but all we could think and talk about was our beautiful experience in Tuscany. We are planning to return every year for our anniversary!!! All that's left to say is a huge thank you to yourself and all the team at Romeo and Juliet who made our special day possible. All our Love Christina and Tony
