This lovely Wedding Hall, built in the XIVth century along the Arno river is elegant and well preserved. The gothic façade, with its greenish colour, is decorated with a double order of mullion windows with two and three lights, and with coats of arms and engravings. The adjacent side is a suggestive arcade used in the past as a public market for wool and silk. Rich decorations inside with frescoes celebrating the power of the old Republic. Three rooms are available: Sala Rossa: an intimate Marriage room with antique furniture, red silks, precious chandeliers and original frescoes. |
