"Dear Marco,

We are back from Honeymoon and everything was great. The day was like clockwork and everyone had a fantastic time so thanks for all your help. the weather couldn't have been better and Michele was amazing!! We wanted to take him home with us.

Yes we had an amazing time in Italy thanks. We firstly spent a few days in Valdobbiadene enjoying Prosecco.... :) Then we moved onto Verona, which ended up being our favourite of all the places we visited. We had the weekend in Bologna before going to Florence. Then we spent another few days in Siena which I loved. The following weekend we were in Montepulciano before ending in Rome :)

As I said our wedding in Venice was a success. The florist were really good - I went to see them on the Friday to drop off the feathers for the bouquet and at the last minute decided I would like small bouquets for the bridesmaids and for my hair (on recommendation of Michele at the hair trail that morning!) and they did it no problem and dropped them off at the hotel the next morning.

Michele, as I said was fantastic, both at the trail and on the day of the wedding. It was definitely a good idea to have the trial as he was shocked at how much hair I had and after 3 hours on Friday of trying out ideas, he thought it would be good to arrive at 7.30am on the morning of the wedding too!! :( He definitely comes highly recommended!!

The violinist was lovely and photographer seemed to know what he was doing - although I haven't seen the photos yet.... ;-) The boat was on time although we had a bit of trouble trying to locate exactly where the yellow boat was in amongst the hundreds of other boats, but we found it eventually. Ancora was ideal for what we needed in the afternoon. It was really relaxed and in the shade!!! This allowed us to have to great photos taken by the canal too on the terrace.

San Clemente Palace wedding reception was fantastic and everyone was amazed at how beautiful it was. We paid our last visit to the manager on the Thursday and made sure everything was in order. I took my parents to see it, as my father wanted to see what he was paying for before the day! They were great right up until the last minute vegetarians were discovered the night before. The drinks in the gardens was perfect as again it was such a pretty area and nicely shaded. Dinner in the Cloisters was definitely the best part, and once the sun went down, it looked amazing. Everyone also loved the pool area so much so that one or two decided they would get in it unfortunately! All our guests seemed very merry and loud as we waved them off on the boat back to San Marco.

Thanks again for all your help and assistance with making our day so special and exactly how we wanted.

Elizabeth and Steve xx"
