Villa Sangiovese

Villa Sangiovese is a typical 17th century Tuscan farmhouse that stands on a gentle hill that offers a glorious view over a coutryside that seems coming out from a Tuscan postcard.

Even if the venue is located in a secluded and quiet valley, it boasts a strategic position among San Gimignano (15 minutes far) , Volterra (15 minutes far) Siena, (50 minutes far) and the sea (50 minutes far): even Florence is no more than 1 hour far!

The villa consists of 3 apartments and 2 bedrooms making it ideal for family groups by allowing the various families to have their own area of the villa.

All apax are provide with traditional features such as ceilings with wooden beams and terracotta tiles, fireplaces with baskets of firewood, stone archways and antique chests and modern comfort including dishwasher,electric, toaster, Italian coffee machine, satellite television, sofa bed.

Apax 1

This spacious apartment is decorated in a warm light cream colour. It is on the ground floor with two entrances: one under the loggia and the other from outside. The beautiful ceiling made of a traditional type of terracotta tiles, is a lovely feature of this apartment, with arches that separate the kitchen/sitting room area from the dining room and bedroom, with walk-in cupboards; the double sofa bed is in front of the fireplace .

The kitchen as all other apax is provided with a fridge dishwasher, microwave oven, electric kettle, toaster, moka, saucepan and kitchenware; the dining room has a fireplace, divan bed and a TV sat.

Apax 2

This attractive apartment is painted in a warm Florentine red.

It is located on the first floor. the entrance is via the ancient stone stairway under the shared loggia. It has a large sitting room with a double sofa bed. The kitchen/dining room area, being separated from it by a quaint fireplace

The romantic bedroom has a canopy bed and a large bathroom complete this apartment.

Apax 3

this apartment is located in the first floor and it consists of a living room, kitchenette and dining room, double bedroom and a bathroom.

The sitting room has an important fireplace in the corner, floor to ceiling tall, a sofa bed, and is divided from the kitchen/dining area by a terracotta archway.

The large double bedroom has a superb view over the swimming pool.

Room 1

It is located at the ground floor, It is warm and welcoming, with antique furniture and wooden beams. It is equipped with a fridge and has a large bright en-suite bathroom with a shower.

Room 2

It is located at the ground floor. It has an independent entrance under the loggia, or it can be connected with Apax 1. It is spacious and elegant with wooden beams and a bright en-suite with a shower.

Outside The private swimming pool and the large garden welcome relax, reading while the surrounding offers many pleasant walks in an unspoiled nature. The villa provides also a laundry that is located outside as well as the old stone wood-fired oven and barbecue that is available to the guests.

As part of the villa a wonderful loggia accessible from the apartments and rooms. it hosts a a large wooden table, an old bench and chairs where in the summer you can enjoy lovely breakfast, lunch or dinner in the shade, but still outdoors.
