San Gimignano Villa

This historical villa dating back to 1600 is situated on a top of a hill and dominating the surrounding valleys rich in vineyard and olive groves.

It is made up of 14 lovely apartments with pool and garden and of an elegant mansion house completely independent surrounded by oaks and cypresses and by a park of about 3,000 square meters with a lovely gazebo for fresco dining and a private swimming pool.

The villa and the apartments have been completely renovated and nothing has been spared to recreate the atmosphere of elegance it once lived.

The Villa is very spacious and its main characteristic is the abundance of spaces offered to its guests.

The furnishing are in perfect harmony with the elegance and importance of the building and great attention was paid during the restoration to the indoor details: all rooms have terracotta floors, beamed and vaulted ceilings, original brick arches and stone fireplaces.

These details together with the elegant antique furniture and precious fabrics bring you back to the original atmosphere of this stunning villa.

The villa sleeps 16 + 4 persons

Lower ground floor: a large tavern of more than 200 sq. Meters with beautiful arched brick ceilings. It is perfect for wedding reception and special parties and can accommodate up to 200 persons.

Ground floor: 3 huge living rooms, one of which has a beautiful sit-in fireplace at the centre of the room, a dining room, a bathroom and a kitchen equipped with cooker, oven, fridge, freezer and dishwasher.

First floor: 8 large and precious bedrooms. (4 double bedrooms and 4 twin bedroom) all with en-suite bathrooms or shower rooms. 4 sofa beds are also available (one each twin room)

Equipment: Satellite TV, oven, freezer and dishwasher, washing machine at the reception.

Note: Together with the adjacent apartments the hamlet can host up to 100 persons.
