Cortona Civil Wedding

Cortona Wedding Hall is located in the outstanding Palazzo Comunale in the very heart of Cortona.

The Palazzo Comunale was built in the 13th Century on the ruins of the ancient Roman town, but it wasn't until the 16th century that he acquired the current shape when the elegant staircase and the bell tower were added to the original building.

On the left of the staircase there is a pretty wooden balcony which overlooks the Piazza della Repubblica.

Ceremonies are performed in the beautiful "Sala del Consiglio" with painted beams ceiling and frescoes on the walls.

Sala del Consiglio belongs to the 13th c. nucleus of the building and it will bring you to a time of courageous Knights and romantic Princesses. And to complete this fairy tale atmosphere how could it miss a 16th century stone fireplace in the end wall? It could not. It's there and it was sculptured by G. B. Infregliati called "il Cristofanello" in the 16th century.
